Commission a carving on site
Do something unique on your property by commissioning a tree sculpture before the entire tree is to be felled, or by using a tree that has fallen down. Although this is not commonplace in South Africa, this art-form is often used in the USA and Europe. Although we don’t offer tree felling, we will happily design and carve on the large remains of a tree, or collaborate with the arborist prior to a tree needing to be felled.
Step 1
Our Process
I will consult at your site/ premises where we can brainstorm and discuss your budget. A once-off consultation fee is charged for this 1-2 hour session. Thereafter a quotation will be sent to you.
Step 2
Our Process
A suitable piece of timber may need to be procured from suppliers for the commissioned piece unless the tree/ bough/ tree trunk is on site
Step 3
Our Process
The sculpture will be designed and a sketch proposal will be presented to you.
Changes may be done at this stage.
